The Answer To Abject Poverty Is Here - The Tesifa Project. It seems like just yesterday we were starting off with a 2-pound bag of rice, determined to do more than just watch as people literally starve to death. We are determined to help the people of East Africa make a permanent “life-giving” change for themselves and their families...
'You and Me Forever' perfectly symbolizes Pat Bradley's turning point. It brought to light the remarkable story of the birth of Crisis Aid International. "When you’re on a mission. When God puts this thing in your heart, and you really find it, it is not work, it’s a privilege..."
Community. It shares a sense of belonging, partnership, support, connection, and fellowship. While recovering from the effects of COVID-19, that sense of community is needed more than ever. As members of your community, we refuse to do nothing and we invite you to refuse to do nothing.
The mission is to rescue as many survivors as possible and break the cycle of sexual abuse and exploitation before it's too late. Sex trafficking is like a ravenous disease that is destroying the very fabric of our country. It devours everyone it touches and is sweeping through America like wildfire.
"I Don't Know Why You [Rescued Me] But You Saved My Life." THANK YOU - One of the greatest needs a human being has is to know that they are loved. That is what keeps bringing them back, sure the food is important but love is more important. To us we may be building a building, or giving food, or drilling a water well -- but to them: it is a miracle. Often times things look impossible...but for us, we ask: "but how are we going to do this?" "REFUSE TO DO NOTHING"
Sonjia's story is a rare look at the real life of a sex trafficking survivor. This is the harrowing story of her fight to live, find help, health, healing, and restoration through the Crisis Aid U.S. Refuge Home. Together, because some chose to do something - we are making a difference! As a partner of Crisis Aid, thank you for helping us help Sonjia and so many others held captive by sex trafficking both in East Africa and in the U. S. Together, we are making a difference.
According to Forbes, sex trafficking is the fastest growing crime in the world today. How is it possible that this evil continues to spread like a plague relatively unchecked for decades? This is a travesty far beyond what words can describe. Since 2007, Crisis Aid and our partners have worked with girls across the globe trapped in this living hell; their lives shattered and destroyed beyond recognition. Yet through these years, we have been privileged to help over 1,000 of these innocent young girls escape and move toward a new life completely restored and fulfilled!
Crisis Aid is one of a few organizations in the world which have a physical full-time presence in a police department to support victims of sex trafficking. The situation is real. Thousands of young women and children having everything: their innocence, their bodies, their spirit, their hope, their families, sometimes even their very lives ripped away from them. This is the reality of what children and young adult sex trafficking victims are experiencing in our communities day in, day out.
Thank you. As you look through these pictures, know that YOU are one of the special individuals that made these life-saving transformations possible. The smiles on these mothers’ faces say more than we could ever express with words. Their children are thriving today because of your generosity.
More than 140 Girls have now graduated!!!
