Millions of people in the world suffer from famine, have no access to medical care or are held in
slavery to the horrors of sex-trafficking and forced-prostitution of children. International
Crisis Aid believes that the academic world can play a significant role in the elimination of
these tragic human conditions. ICA invites you to partner with us in this cause to relieve the
suffering of millions who are without a voice or help. Help ICA develop a "movement" within the
college and university world that will become a lifelong world phenomenon.
IT'S AS SIMPLE AS 1, 2, 3!
1. Register your
club/organization at
www.crisisaid.org/fundraising.html
2. Inform your members:
* ICA will send a packet of information
to inform you of each crisis, how ICA is
responding & how they can help
* Invite a representative from ICA to
speak at your club/organization meeting or
event
3. Advocate:
* Host an awareness campaign on campus
or in the community for one of ICA's
causes or programs.
Advocacy is an important element
of ICA's programs both in
the U.S. and abroad.
In order to best reach the people, we must
bring awareness
and education. ICA aims
to educate Americans not only on what we do,
but also on
the crisis situations
we serve. It is our goal to enlist hundreds of SLU students as
ICA Advocates to educate
their peers on three key issues: sex-trafficking, famine
& medical care.
* Host a fundraising event on campus or in
the community; view ideas at
