In September of 2000, ICA began work in Southern Sudan during a time
of desperate civil war by delivering humanitarian aid into dangerous
"no-go" zones where starvation, disease, and genocide are a part of
everyday life. Since then, our work has rapidly grown to include Afghanistan,
Pakistan, Ethiopia, Cambodia, North Korea and Indonesia. Today ICA is implementing
long-term holistic community development models in addition to providing emergency
